Ellen Miller, Project Accountant, joined CB Ragland in March of 2019. Ellen is responsible for all aspects of the construction accounting and cost allocations for CB Ragland’s construction projects. Her addition to the CB Ragland team brings 30 plus years of diverse experience in the public and private accounting arena. Ellen moved to Nashville in 2016 from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Before joining the company, she worked for a Florida developer (Turnberry Associates) as the Project Accountant handling all accounting aspects for the construction of the JW Marriott Nashville Luxury Hotel. While in Colorado, she worked for a public accounting firm, responsible for the accounting of numerous clients with complex entity structure. Her responsibilities included financial compilations, payroll, general ledger review, reconciliation, and tax reporting. She also worked in the capacity as a Controller for a Colorado import/export company (Maxam Packaging, Inc.) and as the Cost Accounting Manager for one of Utah’s largest asphalt paving companies (Staker Paving and Construction Company, Inc.). Ellen has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Regis University, Denver, Colorado. She is currently enrolled in their master’s degree program for accounting.
